Role Overview

As the Knowledge Curator & Engagement Intern,you will play a vital role in curating, structuring, and amplifying knowledge within Propel Spaces and Open Knowledge Maps. You will support content creation, outreach, and engagement activities that help spread awareness, bringin new contributors, and foster collective learning in the sector. This role is also designed to be a learning journey for you, offering deep insights into knowledge management, learning processes, and international development cooperation.                                                        

Key Responsibilities:

1. Content Curation & Knowledge Development
- In-depth research and mapping of key stakeholders, knowledge products,and relevant developments in the field
- Track the news related to the development sector, analyse its content, and make connections to the bigger picture.
- Continuously source, structure, and add new insights to Propel Spaces and Open Knowledge Maps.
- Assist in developing practitioner stories, helping shape engaging,story-driven knowledge products.
- Identify and summarise emerging trends, best practices, and keylearnings from contributions. 

2. Community Engagement & Outreach
- Identify and engage with development professionals to encourageparticipation in Propel Spaces.
- Support in spreading awareness about the Open Knowledge Maps throughtargeted outreach and digital engagement.
- Help organise and facilitate interactive knowledge-sharing sessions,such as webinars, with practitioners. 

3. Communication & Storytelling
- Develop engaging multimedia content (e.g., blog posts, case studies,videos, social media snippets) to showcase knowledge contributions.
- Support the organisation of webinars and events that highlight keylearning themes.
- Contribute to the development of a communication strategy to createexcitement and virality around Propel.
